HIGH EFFICIENCY KILN
Since long time we have successfully overcome the problem, typical of vertical kilns, to evenly distribute heat on limestone. The original Union Carbide design of Internal Burners Kilns, has been so much improved by FORINDUS that, due to the excellent calcination efficiency so obtained, the overall production capacity has been increased by 2 to 3 times when compared with the production capacity of other similar sized kilns.
LOW INVESTMENT COST
Our modern vertical kilns require really low investment cost, not only compared with rotary kilns, but also compared with other vertical kilns having same performance.
LITTLE SURFACE REQUIRED
Thanks to their compactness and to their high specific production rate, our vertical kilns require very small area for installation.
HIGH SERVICE EFFICIENCY
The very few moveable components, and the very efficient control devices, allow to have kilns operating for long periods without requiring any maintenance interruption. An yearly two-weeks shut-down of the plant is required for ordinary maintenance and control operations. It often happens to find out that, on working periods even longer than 5 years, the efficiency values are higher than 96%.
